The MARMADE consortium met online on 29 September 2026 for its latest Steering Board and Project Meeting, bringing partners together to review progress, exchange updates and coordinate the next steps of the project.
During the meeting, partners presented the latest developments across the different Work Packages, covering the scientific, technical and horizontal activities currently underway. The discussions provided an opportunity to assess progress, address upcoming priorities and ensure that activities remain well coordinated across the consortium.
As MARMADE moves forward, regular exchanges between partners are essential for connecting the different areas of work and supporting the project’s overall objective: developing innovative, safe and sustainable food and feed ingredients from marine biomass.
The meeting also provided space to look ahead to the next phase of activities and strengthen collaboration across the consortium as research and innovation activities continue to progress.
Through close cooperation and a shared commitment to circularity and sustainability, MARMADE continues working towards unlocking the upcycling potential of marine biomass and contributing to a more sustainable European blue bioeconomy.
